LEGISLATIVE DISTRICTS

The Arizona State Legislature consists of 30 districts, (LDs) each of which elect one senator and two representatives. Each legislator, both Representatives and Senators, serve two year terms.

Each LD is divided into precincts, represented by Precinct Committeepersons (PCs.)

PCs are the lifeblood of the Party, and are vital to assuring the successful election of Democrats in our county and state. It is the PC, actively participating in the Democratic Party at the precinct level, who helps candidates win elections and promotes Democratic values and ideals.

The number of PCs is allocated by population, and often there are positions left unfilled. Contact your LD leaders to become a PC!

DISTRITOS LEGISLATIVOS
