For AZ House of Representatives – LD17
Morgan grew up in Arizona as the oldest of 7 children. He attended the University of Arizona in Tucson and graduated with a B.S. in engineering and an MBA from the Eller School of Management.
From an early age, Morgan has committed to advocating for students. While an undergrad at the University of Arizona, Morgan served as the student body president of the school and was able to get the Arizona legislature, Arizona Board of Regents, and University of Arizona administration to agree to a frozen tuition plan for undergraduates that would lock in their tuition for the four years they attend the University of Arizona.
Morgan started his small business, ABECAP, in 2013. ABECAP is a real estate company that specializes in converting old, dilapidated buildings to housing with a focus on affordable housing. Most notably, Morgan’s company was involved in the conversion of the Spanish Trail Motel to affordable housing for veterans.
Morgan previously represented LD10 in Pima County (before redistricting) in the Arizona House of Representatives.
Morgan also serves in the Army Reserve as an intelligence officer receiving his commission from the ROTC program at the University of Arizona. In his personal life, Morgan serves in many nonprofits, including as a board member for the Southern Arizona Federation/Foundation and on the Hillel board at the University of Arizona. He also serves as a commissioner for the City of Tucson Housing Commission and has served as the Treasurer of the Pima County Democratic Party.
