Please join the Democrats of Oro Valley on Monday, April 12th at 6:30 PM for a video conference meeting with Lisa Graves. She is President of the Board of the Center for Media and Democracy, Executive Director at True North Research and on the board of U.S. Right to Know, . She is a well-known researcher, writer, and public speaker. Her research and analysis have been cited by every major paper in the country and featured in critically acclaimed books and documentaries. She will be detailing how Koch et al influence public policy.
We will also be joined by Gabriella Cazares-Kelly, Pima County Recorder. She will be describing her initiatives at the Pima County Recorder’s office and address the current slate of voter suppression bills in the AZ legislature.Let’s also celebrate Gill Weir’s selection as Volunteer of the Year for his work with Field Team 6. Gill is the Southern AZ field director and his efforts led to the registration of over 1,000 voters in the Tucson area which helped flip AZ blue. Gill will be explaining his award and the work that still needs to be done. Additionally, we will be hearing a short update about the Recall Finchem effort.
