  • So far, the county has administered 166,382 vaccines. 
  • A new vaccine site will arrive in Pima County starting next week, and appointments are expected to be filled quickly. Governor Doug Ducey and the Arizona Department of Health Services announced a partnership with the University of Arizona and the Pima County Health Department to operate a state vaccination site on the university’s mall area on central Tucson campus. The transition to a state site will add more appointments that will begin on Feb.18. Registration for these appointments will open at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 16, at podvaccine.azdhs.govRead more.
  • Veterans: On Thursday, February 4, 2021, the VA started contacting and scheduling Veterans who are 65 and older for a COVID-19 vaccine. Veterans can register for their vaccine HERE. The Veteran’s Health Administration (VHA) also recently launched a COVID-19 vaccination data website which provides the latest numbers of COVID-19 vaccines administered across the VA and the VA medical facilities in Arizona.
