The Pima County Democratic Party (PCDP) Executive Committee has unanimously approved a motion to send each of the five Pima County supervisors a letter expressing PCDP’s support for the Pima County Preschool Investment Program (PCPIP).

With its May 6 decision, PCDP joined organizations including the Southern Arizona Leadership Council, the Children’s Action Alliance, the University of Arizona, First Things First, and the Metropolitan Education Commission, as well as Tucson Police Chief Chris Magnus, in supporting the PCPIP.
The supervisors will be taking comments from the public on this proposal before voting on it at the Board of Supervisors’ budget hearing, 1:30 pm on May 14 (Tuesday). The Board meets at  at 130 W. Congress Ave. Parking is available along the street and in the El Presidio Garage, 165 W. Alameda St.
