With over 340 members, the Santa Rita Democrats are the largest club in the Pima County Democratic Party.

The purpose of the club is to stimulate interest and participation in the Democratic Party among the residents of Green Valley, Sahuarita, Amado and surrounding areas. The organization provides a forum for Democratic office holders and candidates to address the Democrats and friends in the Area, particularly about local concerns. Area Democrats promote the election of Democrats in Legislative District 30, Pima County, and the State of Arizona. Voter registration, recruitment of qualified candidates, get-out-the-vote efforts, and financial support of the Democratic Party are the hallmarks of this vital and active group.
