Foothills Democratic Forum

Description:The Foothills Democratic Forum is a political club located in the Foothills area of Tucson, Arizona. It includes portions of Legislative Districts 26, Precincts 56, 170, 211, 237, 238, 283, 285, 300, 326, 327, 330, and 347 and Legislative District 30, Precincts, 267,88, 363, 352, 268, 329, 328, 239, 214, 354, 171, and 301. The Forum provides an opportunity for voters in the Foothills to socialize, discuss, to learn about the important issues facing all of us, to become more politically involve, and tp work together for common goals. Foothills Democratic Forum will hold next its meeting on on Thursday, May 13, 2010 at at 5:30 p.m. at the Skyline Country Club, 5200 E Saint Andrews Dr, Tucson, AZ 85718. Representative Nancy Young Wright from LD 26 and Candidates Cheryl Cage from LD 26 and Todd Camenisch from LD 30. will be speaking on the topic "Education in Arizona. Saguaro Eastside Democrats Dance/Party Fundraiser

Description:Join Saguaro Eastside Democrats for a Springfest Fundraiser dance/party on Sunday May 16th from 5 to 7 (or later) at Shall We Dance Studio with live music by a local band, The Gotes. Refreshments including snacks plus wine, beer and soft drinks will be provided. Also featured will be special guest John C. Scott. Political speeches are not planned.
Proceeds will be used to support local Democratic candidates during this fall's election. As you can see by the recent activities of the State Legislature which is dominated by the Right-wing Party, we need to elect as many Democrats this fall as possible.
Shall We Dance Studio is at 4101 E. Grant Road (east of Alvernon and west of Columbus on the north side of Grant).
