Description:The NW demos will host candidate for Superintendent of Public Instruction for Arizona Jason Williams for its March meeting on Wednesday, March 3rd at 6:30 pm.
Mr. Williams will discuss the problems facing public education and how his candidacy will address these issues.

Attorney General Candidates to speak at Democrats of Oro Valley General meeting
Date:Monday, March 8
Description:Democrat Candidates David Lujan and Vince Rabago both running for the State Attorney General's office will be the special guests at the March 8th General Meeting of the Democrats of Oro Valley. This is a forum and not a debate. Both candidates will present their views followed by a question and answer period.
The event is scheduled at the Oro Valley Library in the large meeting room. The library is located at the corner of La Canada and Naranja Drive. The meeting is open to the public at no cost and begins at 7:00 PM.

SED's LD28 House Candidates Debate
Date:Friday, March 19
Description:Saguaro Eastside Democrats (SED) will host a debate between all Democratic candidates for the two AZ House seats in Legislative District 28. Candidates who have agreed to take part in the debate include incumbent Steve Farley, Ted Prezelski, Mohur Sidhwa, Tim Sultan and Bruce Wheeler.
The debate, which will be held at New Spirit Lutheran Church, 8701 Old Spanish Trail (northeast corner at Camino Seco), begins at 6:30 p.m. with light refreshments and time for socializing. The debate will begin at 7 p.m. and is scheduled to end at 8:30 p.m.
All meetings of SED are free and open to the general public. Membership in the organization is not required. For further information about the meeting or SED, please call 850-6755.
